Cauli Mash


Missing potatoes on GAPS, this recipe will satisfy your starch cravings and the best part is you don’t have to get the veggie peeler out.


1 large head of cauliflower finely sliced,
1 large onion finely sliced,
1 large clove of garlic sliced,
20g organic butter (or 1 tablespoon of organic fat for dairy free),
200ml organic broth,
S & P to taste.


Sauté onions and garlic in butter or fat in a large pot until tender.
Add Cauliflower and broth, cover with lid and steam for 5-10mins until cauliflower is just cooked.
Drain off excess stock.
Pour into Vitamix or other high speed blender (with poke stick) and process until creamy.
Taste, then add sea salt and pepper if required.
